About Autumn Cox

A life, well, lived.

Autumn Cox was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, and now resides in the Midwest with their husband and cats. Writing was always a passion, but until 2023, never something Autumn dreamed would be a possible way of life.

Along with writing, Autumn also enjoys sewing, singing, drawing, painting, and whatever other fascinating, and inevitably expensive, hobby becomes their newest hyperfocus.

How It All Started

Writing has always been a passion. Even since childhood, I’ve loved putting pen to paper, or fingers to keyboard. On top of which, I’ve had plenty of stories sitting on the back burner of my mind for quite some time. It took an amazing therapist and pushing myself to make connections within the writing community to finally convince me that maybe, just maybe, those stories were worth telling.

My hope, always, is that in sharing my joy with others, it will grow, not only in myself, but in those who join in the sharing.

Inspired by nature

While I find man-made structures interesting, nothing captivates like the beauty I find in the perfect imperfection of nature.

Motivated by compassion

In all of my works, as in my life, I strive to lean into my want to help others, and to tell stories of companionship, empathy, and personal growth.

Cultivating community

I believe that story telling is a wonderful way to connect people, and hopefully, my own stories will help to create a place of coming together for those who enjoy them.
